Advanced Tactical Resources Limited's Testimonial


The NYCC, based in North London, is a youth leading charity striving to support and facilitate both young people and parents as well as the wider community in a variety of different ways. We approached ATR earlier this year to start a discussion on how we can improve the safety of our frontline staff. The course they designed included trauma first aid, personal protection techniques and their fantastic scenarios to give as real-to-live situations as possible. I attended the second course, after hearing how good the first one was, and I am really glad I did.

The whole course was delivered by all the instructors in a calming way so it wasn’t intimidating, and I can honestly say we were taught things about ourselves as people so we knew how we would react in certain situations. It has given me more confidence in dealing with life threatening circumstances, whether it is understanding about de-escalating a threatening situation, dealing with catastrophic injuries or being more self-aware – something, unfortunately our Community Centre staff experience too often.

The program is designed for all the staff to attend with follow-on sessions to further enhance our awareness skills.
